During reading and writing workshop students independently researched their chosen animal. Students organized their research into categories, edited and revised their facts, and finally published their report. Their published reports include nonfiction features such as a table of contents, illustrations with labels, diagrams, and photographs with captions. After publishing their report students used Adobe Spark to create an Animal Planet Production.
